A new found hatred for bugs...
Until moving to Virginia I could go all summer and get maybe one bug bite at the very most... I had convinced myself that bugs didn't really like me (or my blood) and was always proud to say that I could go camping and not worry about the bugs. When I would go camping I would come home with no bug bites, while others would come home with many. Well, the other day I spent about 20 minutes outside and I now have 12 bug bites! Then last night for Young Women's we went and did some service that required us to be outside for about 10 minute intervals... well now I have more! This is insane! Apparently the east coast bugs thrive off of me! Also, if it isn't bad enough that my entire body is itchy, it is also covered in large red bumps; I'm pretty sure it looks like I have a disease. Well, from now on when I know I'm going to be outside I am spraying bug spray liberally over my entire body. I am done complaining now.

heh heh heh. diseased. :)
I am so glad that you found my blog! I've been wondering how life is going for you. So you'll be substituting huh? Hope that goes well, I'm kind of jealous for the low stress you'll have. I'm really feeling the heat with getting everything ready. Why BYU doesn't put student teachers in the schools right at the start of school is beyond me...I feel clueless even though I have tons of training. Social studies will come in handy though -- I'm the SS person for my team. Well, hope all is well!

Lindsay,
Kelly just got a bad bite the other day, for some reason....Ryan, Rebecca and Amber when they get bites they swell up really big. I like this new product by benadryl, it's in a long tube with a dabber on the end of it to help stop the itching. Get some of that bull frog sunscreen/bug spray, maybe as well. I just got some for Becca while she is at girls camp this week. Hang in there. Love, Shelly
LIndsay i'm so glad you found my blog :) and wow i didnt know you guys were out in VA now! that's crazy, but congrats on both you graduating and i hope you're enjoying it out there. It sounds like the bugs are enjoying you being out there :)
I found your blog! Well, I am going to agree that Virginia has tons of bugs and I get bite all the time. I hope everything is working out and you are substitute teaching. I'm staying pretty busy with work and travel.
